I was born and raised in a small town Illinois and even though I could never leave the beach, there are a few days out of the year that I miss my hometown. I am SO thankful so many people I have met back from my hometown has trusted me to capture their wedding day and bring me back to Illinois. Ive known of Ciara for awhile, her sweet little sister Camille was a friend of mine back in the day but I officially met Ciara last year when we were back in Illinois for Karas wedding and Ciara was a bridesmaid. You could imagine how happy I was to get an email from Ciara asking me to come back for her wedding!
We arrived at her dads beautiful home on the outskirts of town. That arbor you see? Her dad built it just for Ciaras wedding out of pieces from her grandfathers old barn. How amazing is that! We knew instantly that this family was just something special. We felt like we were still at home in the South. The entire family welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like we were apart of the family. We spent the day praying the rain didnt hit the area like the forecast suggested and the entire day was absolutely beautiful! Getting ready with her girls, high fiving her dad because it was almost wedding time, and snuggles with her little brother before the ceremony. Ciara was so laid back, ahead of schedule, and you couldnt have wiped that smile she had on her face the entire day–everything was just perfect. Eric and Ciara belong together and we are so honored to have spent their day with them.
Congrats you guys!
